I just realized that McCartney’s Christmas tune “Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time” (or whatever the actual title of the song is) is easily one of the worst songs ever written.
I listen to it when its on the radio because its so awful, and I’m repeatedly shocked that such a prolific songwriter like Paul McCartney could write and release such a terrible song. It’s so bad that I can’t turn it off
Had to get that off my chest.
Ya, Wonderful Christmastime is awful, simply awful. I absolutely LOVE Happy Xmas (War is Over), Lennon definitely wins the battle of Beatle Christmas songs.
