Mo Williams is going to miss some time. The Plain Dealer’s Mary Schmitt Boyer tweets:
#Cavs guard Mo Williams had a cortisone shot on Wed to alleviate pain in left hip flexor. He says he’s out a ”couple weeks.”
Obviously, the Cavs can ill afford to lose Mo, but what choice do they have? But hey, at least Boobie is returning:
Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson, who missed the entire West Coast trip with a sprained left ankle, is eager to return tonight against the Phoenix Suns at The Q.
I’m interested to see how the new defensive minded Cavaliers will fare against Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. The Suns offense and pace can screw with the most disciplined defensive teams. And an injury plagued Cavaliers squad is not the most disciplined of teams.
